Patients Call for Justice

I hear the Liberty Bell ringing, calling for justice and for freedom. It’s crack underscores past broken promises yet her peal proudly proclaims present hope and promises that in the future we will draw ever nearer and eventually achieve the ideals for which it rings.

Lady Liberty stands with upheld hand, her torch lighting the way towards freedom for countless huddled masses. Now they come not only from abroad, but also are our friends, families and neighbors who find themselves imprisoned not by bars of steel, but rather by the bonds of illness, injury, and the ravages of age. The frailties of the human condition may prey upon any of us at any time. Even the strongest among us ultimately, eventually, become vulnerable, weak and dependent, yet Freedom is calling.

It is over our most disadvantaged and vulnerable population that we set our most trusted souls, our nurses and other home healthcare professionals. We invite them into our homes to care for ourselves or our loved ones in our times of most desperate need.

It is a disturbing breach when those who are entrusted to care for our beloved ill and frail violate our sacred trust inside the very homes of the vulnerable and defenseless patients over whom they have charge. To violate anew those who have already suffered life’s most grievous ills, as they look to homecare professionals for aid is a supremely horrid betrayal, akin to repeated rape. To whom should such patients and their loved ones turn? Who can they trust? We look to the owners, administrators, the CEOs and other leaders for accountability and help to stop the abuses. So often they do nothing…. Justice is calling!

The patients plead: “Walk with us! Do not leave us alone! We are hurting! We suffer all the more because our time is limited! How will this end?”

Let us be faithful in aiding and upholding the vulnerable among us. Let us not hurt more those who have been hurt so many times before, and who continue to hurt. Let us be true to the trust these patients place in us. We must not let them down…

OUR CASES

GOMEZ VS CELEBRITY

We are encouraging a boycott of Celebrity Home Health because of their violations of constitutional rights, discrimination based on race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, diagnosis, and socioeconomic status, HIPPA/patient privacy violations, and the 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act.

IN THE PURSUIT OF JUSTICE

“In the Pursuit of Justice reserves the right to exercise First Amendment rights, to boycott and protest against any and all companies and individuals who violate other’s civil rights. Very soon we intend to have a section on our website that showcases civil rights violations that we and/or our international allies find.In the Pursuit of Justice will vigorously fight any and all companies or individuals who threatens this company and the civil rights of others; We take civil rights violations very seriously.”

THE CATALINA P. GOMEZ BILL

We are lobbing Washington to sponsor a bill which would ensure that states do not strip Americans of their constitutional rights, enslave them, sell their assets under color of state law. We assert that this is unconstitutional and we strive to uphold the rights given by federal law in the US Constitution.
